Dr. Elton graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science degree in Microbiology. She then graduated from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and then went on to do a fellowship in Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Dr. Elton has worked in the Pediatrics After Hours Clinic at William Beaumont Hospital since it opened in 1993. She has been in private practice in West Bloomfield since 1993.
